Puppy education
When a puppy comes into our lives, we want to offer them the best, shower them with affection and care. However, we must not forget that it is during the puppy stage that we need to emphasize education. If we compare it to our society, it would be like going to school and learning to coexist both at home and in the environment, we live in. Between two and four
months of a puppy's life, what is known as imprinting occurs, which is the phase in which all lived experiences mark a before and after in their life. It is at this precise moment that they should be presented with all kinds of stimuli and taught to emotionally self-regulate, with the goal of becoming a balanced and happy animal. Of course, education should always be worked
on in a fun and positive way; let’s not forget that at this stage they are like babies and children.

Training
Training refers to teaching a dog to enhance certain skills to perform a specific task. These tasks can include practicing a canine sport, such as Agility, or working dogs that track and search for missing persons (or mantrailing). Basic obedience consists of teaching the dog a series of behaviors and positions that are useful for coexistence (sit, shake, come, stay, heel…).
However, the goal of all training is to strengthen the bond with their handler, as well as to provide the dog with the opportunity to develop physical and mental work.

Behavior modification
Sometimes, our puppies display behaviors that seem fun, but as they grow into adults, those same behaviors can become annoying. For example, they may place their paws on us. At first, this behavior was encouraged or tolerated, but now it leads to scratching, and we no longer find it acceptable. The problem is that we don’t know how to communicate to them that we no longer like it.This happens due to a lack of clear and concise communication in which we fail to use canine language effectively. However, dogs can unlearn behaviors if it benefits them. Through emotional self-regulation, they can learn new ways of acting—on their own free will and with greater motivation.

Applied to animals, using canine psychology, it balances and heals the body, mind and soul, through a personalized diagnosis for each dog. The advantage, a natural system, harmless and available to everyone.

Introducing a new baby to the family pack
It consists of special programs, in which we help families who are expecting the arrival of a baby or who have just had a baby to generate a correct association of the baby with the puppy. The main objective is to generate a good bond, as well as to correct all inappropriate behaviors that may generate tension in the family, to enjoy harmony and balance in the home. In addition to help manage future situations that will occur in the future, the baby grows up with his furry brother.

Fears and phobias
Fear of fireworks, cars, vacuum cleaners, or climbing stairs are just a few examples of situations that can cause such intense panic in our little ones that they feel their survival is at risk. This emotional state can lead to escape behaviors, self-injury, and, in extreme cases, even death.
We also encounter cases of poor socialization (with children, dogs, other animals, or people), where every time they face an unfamiliar stimulus, their instinct is to flee or defend themselves.
By developing a well-structured desensitization and rehabilitation therapy, along with emotional self-regulation, we can overcome all obstacles and create a positive association.

Energy balance is important. With alternative therapies such as Reiki and/or the application of relaxing massages using techniques like the T-Touch method, we can help reduce anxiety, cortisol levels, and nervousness in dogs.
These therapies serve as a complementary tool in cases of behavior modification, emotional management, and fear-related issues.

Choosing my dog
Selecting your new lifelong companion is a crucial decision, as you will spend the rest of their life enjoying each other’s company. To ensure a healthy and balanced relationship, several key factors must be considered, such as the type of home you live in, the amount of time you can dedicate daily, the age and physical condition of the owner, and the dog's energy level based on its genetic temperament.
The introduction of the new dog into your home—whether a puppy or an adult, adopted or from a certified breeder—will also play a significant role in this process.

Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT)
It is scientifically proven that contact with a dog boosts serotonin and oxytocin levels while reducing cortisol in our bodies, helping us reconnect with nature. Additionally, therapy involving patients with physical, cognitive, emotional, and social challenges has shown remarkable benefits, significantly improving their quality of life.
The advantages of interacting with dogs include increased self-esteem, a sense of social contribution, improved learning, greater motivation, and a stronger sense of responsibility.
At Zenguau, we are qualified to develop these therapies alongside the necessary centers and professionals to ensure an objective evaluation of progress. We have helped many families, including private in-home therapy sessions.

Hi! I'm Mamen
I am a canine educator, passionate about helping dogs and their owners to communicate and understand each other.
Since I was young, I have felt a great affinity and love for animals, especially dogs, and I have always wanted to find ways to improve their welfare and their relationship with humans.
My passion for dogs led me to study and learn everything I could about their behavior, psychology and needs. Eventually, I realized that canine education was the best way to put my knowledge into practice and help people improve their relationship with their pets.
As a canine educator, I like to teach dogs through self-will to develop emotional self-regulation. In this way the motivation with which we carry out the education and training is totally positive, so that the behaviors, emotions and behaviors are healthy and positive. I also work with families
to teach them to communicate effectively with their dogs, to understand canine language and their needs, as well as to foster a good bond between all members.
For me, being a dog trainer is not just a job, it is a vocation. I feel deeply satisfied and happy when I see that dogs and their families understand each other and can live together in harmony and happiness. It means that have been able to change their lives in a positive way.

Frequently asked questions
The duration of the first session can be a little over an hour. The duration of the rest will be
approximately one hour. We will always have to consider the therapy to be carried out that day,
therefore, it can be extended or finished before the hour. The emotional and physical state of
the animal will always be considered, as well as its response to exercise.
It is recommended that no more than one week passes between sessions. With this I want to
point out that with a dog you should never run, even less, what is more, you have to leave each
therapy well fixed, they are not machines. If you run too much, you soon stop, and with a dog, if
you run too much, then it's two steps backwards instead of one.
First, we will carry out a face-to-face diagnosis to assess the situation in which the animal finds
itself. In this way, we will elaborate the therapy that we are going to apply, in terms of duration
and exercises that we will carry out. From there, a budget will be drawn up according to the
The flower treatment is completely harmless; it works on an energetic and emotional level. It is
a natural way of helping the dog with a treatment that is totally personalized to how the dog
experiences its problem or illness.
The sessions will be structured between the home where the animal lives, its territory and
usual recreational area, as well as places for walks in the surroundings of Palma and a
controlled work area with stimuli. Each session will be structured by the canine therapist, who
will consider which therapy to carry out each day in each case.
